A car which has a mass of 2,000kg accelerates from rest at a rate of 2 m/s2 . How much force was applied on the car to attain this motion?

Given data:-

{ mass = m; acceleration = a; force = F; }

Here,

—› Maas of car = 2000 kg

—› Acceleration of car = 2 m/s²

Solution:-

To find applied force on car to atain motion. we use formula of force.

—› Force = mass × acceleration

—› Force = 2000 × 2

—› Force = 4000 N

Hence, car need 4000N of force to accelerate at 2 m/s².
