a car which was moving with 20m/s velocity came to rest. in 5s by applying breaks. calculate it's acceleration.​

u = 20m {s}^{ - 1}  \\ v   = 0 \\ t   = 5s \\ a \:  =  \frac{v - u}{t}  \\ a =  \frac{0 - 20}{5}  \\ a =  \frac{ - 20}{5}  \\ a =  - 4m {s}^{ - 1}
