Sublimation consists of the evaporation of a solid from a hot surface and subsequent condensation on another surface at a lower temperature. Depending on the nature of the solid, sublimation can occur at atmospheric pressure or vacuum.

Fwcosθ is the perpendicular force that the ramp needs to withstand

Given:

Fw weight force of the Car

θ angle with horizontal

To find:

Perpendicular force the ramp can withstand

Given:

The ramp is making an angle θ with the horizontal surface; now if you can imagine the weight force of the car will also make an angle θ with the perpendicular line of the ramp ;

now the force component of Fwcosθ should be equal to the Normal reaction force of the ramp so that it does not break under the car's weight

The perpendicular force required Fwcosθ
