Given :-

A car with a mass of 800 kg moves at a speed of 60 km/h.

The movement evenly accelerated and lasted 20 seconds.

To Find :-

What is the force.

Formula Used :-

\boxed{\bold{\large{v\: =\: u\: +\: at}}}

\boxed{\bold{\large{Force\: =\: m \times a}}}

where,

v = Final velocity

u = Initial velocity

a = Acceleration

t = Time

F = Force

m = Mass

Solution :-

❶ First, we have to find the acceleration,

Given :

✦ Final velocity = 60 km/h = 60 km/s = 60 \times

\dfrac{5}{18}

✦ Initial velocity = 0 m/s

✦ Time = 20 seconds

According to the question by using the formula we get,

⇒ 16.67 = 0 + a × 20

⇒ 16.67 = 20a

\dfrac{16.67}{20}

= a

⇒ 0.84 = a

➠ a = 0.84 m/s

❷ Now, we have to find the force,

Given :

✦ Mass = 800 kg

✦ Acceleration = 0.84

According to the question by using the formula we get,

➟ Force = 800 × 0.84

➥ Force = 672 N

∴ The force of a car is 672 N .
