Given :

Speed of car = 60 km / hr

Time Taken = 8 hr

We know :

Speed = Distance / Time

Distance = Speed * Time

Distance =   60 * 8

Distance = 480 km

Now,

Distance to be covered = 480 km

Time Taken = 7.5 hr

Speed = Distance / Time

Speed = 480 / 7.5

Speed = 64 km / hr

Thus, the new speed of car should be 64 km / hr

Increase in speed = Increased speed - Original Speed

Increase in speed = 64 - 60

Increase in speed = 4 km / hr
