A car with speed 60km/hr takes 8hrs to travel some distance. What should be the increase in speed if the same distance is to be covered in 7 and half hr?

Solution :

Speed = Dist / time

so, dist = speed * time

dist = 60 * 8 = 480 KM

if the same dist is covered in 7.5 hours then

speed = 480 / 7.5 = 64 Km/h

so increase in speed = 4 km/h
