TOTAL EVENTS =52
FAVOURABLE EVENTS OF NEITHER AN ACE NOR A KING = 44
PROBABILITY OF NEITHER AN ACE NOR A KING = 44/52
THAT IS. = 11/13

total number of cards=52
total number of kings=4
total number of ace=4

therefore probability that a card is neither a king nor an ace is 1-(8/52)=(13-2)/13=11/13.
