54 cards is in a deck of ordinary playing cards . It has 13 diamonds ,13 spades ,13 clubs and 13 hearts .

A diamond is chosen = 13 / 54 = 1/4

A king is chosen = 4/54

A black 4 is chosen = 2/54

A 7 of heart is chosen 1/54

Given,

Number of total cards  = 52

To Find,

1)if a diamond is chosen =?

2)if a king is chosen =?

3)a black 4 is chosen =?

4)a 7of heart is chosen =?

Solution,

Number of total cards = 52

Number of diamond cards in the deck = 13

Probability of choosing a diamond card = Number of diamond cards / Total cards

Probability of choosing a diamond card = 13 / 52

Probability of choosing a diamond card = 1 / 4

Number of kings in the deck = 4

Probability of choosing a king = Number of kings / Total cards

Probability of choosing a king  = 4 / 52

Probability of choosing a king = 1 / 13

Number of a black 4 in the deck = 2

Probability of choosing a black 4 = Number of a black 4 cards / Total cards

Probability of choosing a black 4 = 2 / 52

Probability of choosing a black 4 = 1 / 26

Number of 7 of hearts in the deck = 1

Probability of choosing 7 of hearts = Number of 7 of hearts / Total cards

Probability of choosing 7 of hearts = 1 / 52

Hence, the probability of getting a diamond, a king, a black 4, and a 7 of hearts are 1/4, 1/13, 1/26, and 1/52 respectively.
