Total no. of cards = 52

No. of spades except ace card = 12

P(E) = 12/52

= 6/13

Therefore probability if getting a spade except the ace is 6/13.

Answer:

52-12=40

Step-by-step explanation:

there are a total of 52 cards

therefore,probability of getting a spade=13/52

but we should also not get an ace of spade,so we subtract 1
