PS : Include the number of each playing card type that might come handy in any such probability question.

HEYA!!!!

Given,

Total outcomes = 52

Let " E " be the event to get a king or Jack

P ( E ) = Favourable outcomes / total outcomes

= 8/ 52 = 2/13

ii) let E be the event to get not a ace

P ( E ) = 1 - p ( E )

= 1 - 1/13

= 13-1 / 13

P ( E) = 12 / 13

iii) let E be the event to get not a ace or king

P ( E ) = 1 - 2/ 13

= 11/13

HOPE THIS HELPS U. . .

Ankit1234: 8/52 can be written in simple value tho.
CaptainBrainly: yes but I didn't write...
GovindKrishnan: Thanks! U didn't give card numbers tho (refer PS part of qn)
CaptainBrainly: ok bro
Ankit1234: Never forget to writr simplest form of probability in exams, teachers may cut numbers.
CaptainBrainly: ok bro thnx for your advice....
