Given:

Total number of cards = A deck = 52 cards

Card drawn = One

To Find:

Probability of getting neither a red colour card nor a queen

Solution:

Total number of red cards in a deck of 52 cards = 26

Total number of queens in a deck = 4.

Queens of Red colour = 2

Queens of black colour = 2

Thus,

Number of cards neither red nor queen = 52 - ( 26 + 2 )

= 52 - 28

= 24

Therefore, probability of getting a red card nor a queen = 24/52

= 6/13

Answer: The probability of getting neither a red colour card nor a queen is 6/13
