probability of getting niether a king nor a card = 52-4-4/52

= 52-8/52

=44/52

=22/26

=11/13

let the sample space be 's'

there are 52 cards in a deck

therefore, n(s)= 52

let 'a' be the event of getting neither red card nor a queen

there are total 26 red cards of which two queens are included

other two queens are of black cards

therefore, n(a)=28

p(a)=n(a)/n(s)

= 28/52

=7/13
