Answer:

THE n (S) = 52

Let A be the event of getting red card.

n (A) = 26

Now, P ( A) = n ( A) / n ( S)

= 26/52

= 1/ 2

Now, Let B be the event of not getting queen.

There are 4 queens in the pack of cards.

therefore , n ( B ) = 52 - 4 queens

= 48 cards

Now, P (B) = n (B ) / n (S)

= 48/ 52

= 12 / 13

THE PROBABILITY OF GETTING RED CARD IS

 \frac{1}{2}

and THE PROBABILITY OF NOT GETTING A QUEEN IS

 \frac{12}{13}

HOPE IT HELPS !!

HAVE A GOOD DAY !!☺️☺️
