1-Since in 1 suit there are thirteen cards and there are two suits of red cards.

It means there will be 13*2=26 red cards and rest 2 queen.

Therefore, No. of favorable outcomes=28

No. of possible outcomes=52

P( neither a red card nor a queen)=28/52=7/13

2- Similarly,here only king changes. Therefore ,

No. of favorable outcomes=28

No. of possible outcomes=52

P(A red card  or a king)=28/52=7/13

TwilightSky: But for the first one, shouldn't you subtract 28 from 52(total outcome), because they have asked neither red card nor queen
ashutosh1123: No because they had already asked for neither**

i) total number of possible outcome= 52

favorable outcome= 28

probability ( neither a red card nor a queen) = 24/52 =6/13

ii) probability ( either a red card or a king) = 28/52 = 7/13
