A card is drawn from a well shuffled deck of 52 cards find the probability of getting neither a jack nor a queen

Number of Jack and queen in a deck of cards = 4 + 4 = 8

Probability = No. of favourable events/ no. of total events

= (52-8)/52

= 44/52

= 11/13

Therefore the probability of getting neither a jack nor a queen is 11/13
