The total number of outcomes of a deck of 52 cards are 52.

Since, there are 13 cards of diamond in a deck of 52 cards, therefore, the total number of favourable outcome that it is not a diamond is 52 − 13 = 39.

Therefore, probability P of not getting a diamond card is:

P = 39/52 = 3/4

Hence, the probability of not getting a diamond card is 3 /4.
