A card is drawn from a well shuffled pack of 52 cards. Find the probability of
getting
a king of red colour
ii)
a non-face card
iii) neither a spade nor a jack.​

Answer:

I) KING OF RED COLOUR

as we know there are two king with colour REDso favourable case = 2

we can choose any card so total case = 52

Probability =(favourable/total)

p= 2/52= 1/26

2) NON FACE CARD

so we have non face card = 40

so favourable cases = 40 and

total cases = 52

so P= 40/52 = 10/13

3) NEITHER A SPADE AND A JACK

so total no. of Jack card is 13

and total jack is 4.

but one jack is already counted in SPADE CARDS.so additional 3 jack.

Total favourable cases = 13+3= 16

total cases = 52p= 16/52 = 4/13
