So, total possible results = 52

Number of spades in a pack = 13
And, number of Ace in a pack = 4

So,
Desired Results for drawing a Spade or an Ace = 13 + 4 - 1 = 16
(Because, A spade of ace is the intersection)
So,
Probability = P(E) = Desired Results/Total Possible Results

P(E) = 16/52

P(E) = 4/13.....●
