A Cardboard caeton is 70cm long,40cm broad and 30cm high. how many cubes each of 5cm edage can be placed inside the carton to fill it?

Volume of carton = 70 x 40 x 30

= 84000

Volume of 1 cube = 5 x 5 x 5 = 125

Therefore, number of cubes need to be placed = 84000/125 = 672
