Length of the area not covered by circle = Total Area Of Cardboard - Area Covered by circles

= (length x width ) - \pi x r^2

= (60 x 15) - {( \frac{22}{7}  ) x  7 x 7 }

= 900 - 154

= 746cm^2

Answer:

592cm.sq

Step-by-step explanation:

length of the rectangular cardboard=60 cm

breadth of the rectangular cardboard=15 cm

area of the rectangular cardboard=L*B

                                                       =60*15

                                                        = 900 cm.sq

radius of the small circles               =7cm

area of the circle                              =\pi*r*r

                                                          =22/7*7*7

                                                           =154 cm.sq

area of one circle                            =154 cm.sq

  area of two circles                          =154*2

=308 cm.sq (since given in the question as TWO CIRCLES)

area of the remaining  cardboard without the circles= area of rectangle-area of two circles

                                                             =900-308

                                                              = 592cm.sq

∴ the area of the cardboard which is not covered by the circles is 592cm.sq

I hope it is the correct answer and helps you . thank you
