here T1 is 600k

and T2 is 300k

W=5000j

we know that efficiency of Carnot engine is equal to W/Q

so,

W/Q=1-(T2/T1)

Q=W/{1-(T2/T1)}

Q=5000/{1-(300/600}

Q=5000/(2)

Q=5000*2

Q=10,000j
