Hi there!
Here's the answer:

•°•°•°•°<><><<><>><><>°•°•°•°•°•

S.P = \frac{100 + gain\%}{100} × C.P

¶ Selling Price = Marked Price - Discount

•°•°•°•°<><><<><>><><>°•°•°•°•°•

SOLUTION:

Given,
Cost price of item = 3190₹
On selling, carpenter gains 20%
Discount = 10%

•°• The price at which the customer buys the item = S.P of the shopkeeper

S.P = \frac{100 + gain\%}{100} × C.P

=>  S.P = \frac{100+20}{100}×3190

=>  S.P = \frac{120}{100} × 3190

=> S.P = 3828₹

Now a discount of 14% on the marked price is given by carpenter
Let marked price be ₹x

•°• Discount on the article = 14% of x

Discounted Price
= ₹\frac{14}{100} × x = 0.14x

Selling Price = Marked Price - Discounted Price

=> 3828 = x - 0.14x
=> 0.86x = 3828
=> x = 3828/0.86
=> x = 4451.16

Hence ,
The marked price of Table = 4451.16₹

Hope it helps
