A carpenter bought a chair for rs 750.he spent on rs 200 poilsing it and rs 50 on fixing its legs. The carpenter made a profit of rs 25 on selling the chair. Find the price at which the chair was sold.

cost price of chair=Rs 750

added prices for up gradation of chair=Rs 200+Rs 50=Rs 250

then total cost price= 750+250= Rs 1000

total profit= Rs25

then selling price of the chair= 1000+25=Rs 1025
