According to given condition

X= 2y

ie. X=10×2

= 20 m

since the length is more than breadth it is a rectangle.

therefore perimeter of rectangle = 2(length +breadth)

substituting value of length and breadth of carpet we get

2(20+10)

=2(30)

= 60m

therefore perimeter of the carpet is *60* meters.
