Pipe one = 60 DM

Pipe two = 72 DM


The carpenter cuts the pipes into equal lengths.


⇒Pipe one = 60/2 = 30 DM

pipe two = 72/2 = 36 DM


Greatest possible lengths of each pipe are 30 and 36 DM respectively.
