Given :

  • volume of letter box = 15000 cm³
  • base area of letter box = 750 cm²

To Find :

  • height of the letter box ?

Solution :

the letter box is in the shape of cuboid.

and we know that, if

  • length = l
  • breadth = b
  • height = h

  \boxed{\bold{volume \: of \: cuboid = lbh}}

 {\tt{  :  \implies 15000 = lbh}}  \: .......(i)

and we know that,

 \boxed{ \bold{base \: area \:  = lb}}

now, put the value of “lb” in (i)

  \tt{: \implies 15000 = 750 \: h } \\  \\  \tt{ :  \implies h =   \cancel\frac{15000}{750} }  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\   : \implies  \red{\tt{ h =20  } }\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, height of the letter box is 20 cm
