A carpenter needs to build a wooden door with the following specification – The shape of the door is a square and its area is 90000cm2.
(a) Find the formula for the area of the door.
(b) Substituting the value of area in the formula help the carpenter in deciding the dimensions of the door.
(c) With the same area, the carpenter is required to make a rectangular table such that its length is four times its breadth. Find the dimensions of the surface of the table.

area of rectangle = length × breadth

4B=L

L×b=90000

4B×B=90000

4B² = 90000

B= root 90000/root4

B= 300/2

B= 150 cm

L=4×150= 600cm
