Hi Friend ✋✋✋

Length of carpet in metres = 6.2m

Breadth of carpet in metres = 4.4 m

Perimeter = 2 × ( Length + Breadth )

= 2 × ( 6.2 + 4.4 )

= 2 × 10.6

= 21.2 m

Cost = 21.2 × 15 = ₹318

Hope it helps

length of the carpet=6m 20cm
breadth of the carpet=4m 40 cm
so, to cover the boundary we need to find the perimeter
perimeter/length=2×(l+b)
=2×(620cm+440cm)
=2×1060
=2120cm

100cm=1m
2120cm=2120÷100=21.2m
cost of 1m=15rupees
so, cost of 21.2m=21.2×15
=rupees 318 is the cost of 21.2 m
