Given -

a = 6m/ 600cm

cost for 1m^2 = 120

Formula -

Area of a sqaure = a^2 / (side)^2

Solution -

By leaving 25 cm from all the four walls, all sides will become 575cm in length.

Now, we have to find the area of this to determine the carpet laying area.

Therefore, 575 * 575 = 330625cm^2

Now, since 1m^2 = ₹ 120,

we have to convert cm^2 onto m^2

330625/10000 = 33.0625m^2

Cost for 33.0625m^2

= 33.0625 * 120

=  ₹ 3967.5
