1 revolution=1 CIRCUMFERENCE
Covered Distance=4.5 km=4500 m

Its CIRCUMFERANCE=4500/1500
=3m
CIRCUMFERANCE=3 m
CIRCUMFERANCE=2πr
3=2×22/7×r
3=44/7×r
3×7/44=r
21/44=r
0.47=r
Radius=0.47metres
Aprrox=0.50 metres

Question;

A carriage will makes 1500 revolutions in going for a distance of 4.5 km find the radius?

Method Of Solution;

Given;

It's makes 1500 revolutions in going for a distance of 4.5 km.

Now,

We know that ;

π = 3.14

Change km to metres

4.5 km = 4500 m

circumference = 2pir

15002pi(r)= 4500 metres

3000(3.14)r = 4500 metres

 Hence, Radius Of Circle=)

r = 4500/(3000)(3.14)

•°•
r = 0.47771 m

 Change metre to Cm;

(0.47771 metres)(100 cm/metres) = 47.771 cm

Hence,

Radius of Circle=)47.771 cm
