Answer:

(C) 2 MHz, 2.002 MHz,1.998 MHz

Explanation:

Given,

frequency of carrier wave, fc = 2 MHz

frequency of modulating wave, fs = 2 KHz.=0.002 MHz

We have to calculate frequencies will be present in the modulated wave.

The frequency present in the modulated wave is

                                  fc

                  fc - fs                  fc+fs

                  fc- 2.fs                fc + 2.fs

                 fc- 3.fs                 fc-3.fs       and so on.

So, the frequency present in this modulated wave will be

f1 = fc = 2MHz

f2 = fc - fs

      =2 MHz - 0.002 MHz

      = 1.998 MHz

f3 = fc + fs

    =2 MHz + 0.002 MHz

    = 2.002 MHz

So, the frequency will be present in this modulated wave will be 2MHz, 1.998 MHz and 2.002 MHz.
