A cart with mass 20kg went 50m ina straight lineon a plain and smooth road whenua force of 2n was applied to it how much work was done by the force

As we know that the work done is equal to the force applied and  distance covered by the object as the result of that force applied In order to move the object.     here the object is the cart.

So workdone will be = Force * distance.

here force = 2 newton

distance = 50 meter

By putting values in formula we will get the answer.

Work done will be = 2 * 50 = 100

So the  answer will be 100 J

your solution is.
m=20kg...
distance moved =50m.
weight acting downward is =20×10= 200N.
force applied is 2N .
irrespective of weight as their was motion of cart work is obtained .
W.d= F×s = 2×50= 100Nm.
