here's ur answer...
given the side of the cubical carton = 8 inches
volume of the carton = side³
= 8 × 8 × 8
= 512 inch³
side of the plastic cube = 1 inch
volume of the cube = side³
= 1 × 1 × 1
= 1 inch³
no. of cubes can be filled in the carton = 512/1
= 512
512 cubes can be filled in the carton.
cost of one cube = ¢25
therefore total cost of all cubes = 25 × 512
= ¢12800
