Answer:

108 kilometres

Explanation:

Given :

  • Speed of the car = 10 m/s

  • Time for which the car travelled at 10 m/s = 3 hours

To find :

  • Distance travelled by the car in 3 hours of time with a speed of 10 m/s

Distance =speed×time

Time = 3 hours = 180 minutes = 180×60 = 10,800 seconds

Distance = 10×10,800

Distance = 1,08,000 metres

Distance in km = 108 km

The distance covered by the car with a speed 10 m/s for 3 hours is equal to 108 kilometres

Given:-

  • Speed of cat = 10m/s

  • Time taken = 3 hour = 3× 60×6=10800 s

To Find:-

  • Distance travelled by cat.

Solution :-

We know that distance is the product of speed and time

➦ Distance = speed × time

➭ d = s × t

➭ d = 10 × 10800

➭ d = 108000 m

☛ 108000/1000= 108km

∴ The distance covered by cat is 108km
