A cat runs at a speed of 100 metres in a minute .Find its speed in km/h.(with statements)

Hii...

Distance=100m=100000km
Time =1 min =60sec
Speed= Distance/Time
=100000/60
=16.66m/s-2

Hey there! :D

First of all, according to your ques:
Distance covered= 100m
and, time taken to cover the above distance= 1min= 60 secs

now, according to the formula:
Distance= speed multiplied by time

Here, multiplication has been represented as : *
 
therefore, distance= speed*time
                 100 = s * 60
 
therefore, s= 100/60
                  s= 10/6 m/sec


to convert a given speed into km/hr we multiply the speed with 18/5.

therefore, 10/6* 18/5
                = 6 km/hr
