As it tells that Test Tube contained crushed potatoes with saliva, that means that the potatoes have been chewed. As Salivary amylase/enzyme break downs Starch into simple sugars. So, when iodine solution is added, there was no starch and so the solution couldn't convert blue-black.

As it tells that test tube B contained only crushed potatoes but not chewed, so when iodine solution was added, it contained Starch and will thus, turn Blue -Black.

SO conclusion; Test Tube A will have no color change.

                         Test Tube B will have color changed to blue-black.
