i) the area to be painted is 90 m^2

ii) the total amount of paint required for the ceiling is 6 liters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of ceiling = 12 m

Breadth of ceiling = 7.5 m

Area of ceiling =Length \times Breadth = 12 \times 7.5=90 m^2

One liter of paint covers 15 square meters

Paint required to cover 90 sq.m. =\frac{90}{15}=6

i) the area to be painted is 90 m^2

ii) the total amount of paint required for the ceiling is 6 liter
