A cell divides every minute.At this rate of division it can fill a 100ml of beaker in one hour.How much time does it take to fill a 25ml beaker?

Time required by the cell to fill:-

100ml = 1 hour

1 ml = 1/100 hour

25 ml = (1/100) x 25

= 1/4 hour

= 15 mins

Thus , the cell would require 15 mins to fill a beaker of 25ml
