A cell having 24 chromosomes undergoes mitotic division, What will be the chromosome number (N) of the cell during its metaphase and chromosomal number in daughter cells? Explain it with reason?​

during metaphase the chromosomes align themselves along the equitorial plane and the number remains same during all the phases of mitosis.

the two daughter cells will have the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell that is 24 since in mitotic divison the number of chromosomes remains the same.

and hence mitotic divison is called diploid division
