A cell of emf 1.1 v and internal resistance 0.50 is connected to a wire of resistance 0.50 another cell of same emf is connected in series but the current in the wire remains same. Find internal resistance of another cell

As R=V/I then Rtotal = 2/3 = 0.6667

Now as Rint = 0.5 then Rext = Rtotal - Rint = 0.1667ohm

Vout will be Rext x I = 0.1667 * 3 = 0.5001
