A cell of EMF 2 volt and internal resistance 4 ohm is connected to an external resistance of 12 ohm. Find the terminal potential difference of the cell?

I am not sure but in my opinion

EMF (V)= 2Volt
R1=4ohm
R2=12 ohm
V2= ?

Solution:-

we know that
V=IR
OR
I=V1/R1
I=2/4
I=0.5------------------(1)

Now

V2=IR2

By putting value of I from eq (1)

V2=0.5×12
V2=6 volt---------answer
