a cell of emf 2V and internal resistance 0,5 ohm is connected in series with an ammeter and torch bulb. the ammeter reads 0,25A. Calculate the power supplied by the cell. And lastly explain why more power is supplied by the cell than is delivered to the bulb.

Answer: SO HERE IS AN EXPLAINATION

Explanation: SO IN THE GIVEN FIG  E=2V   WHERE r=0.5ohm

\

I=0.25A

                        POWER=V^2/R

                            THERFORE           4/2.5

 HENCE AS WE SAY IN PRACTICAL WAY  THERE IS VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF CURRENT THROUGH THE SYSTEM WHICH QUITE NEGILIGLE TO SUPPLY TO BULB HENCE THERE IS MORE POWER WHICH IS QUITE AS EXTERNAL RESISTANCE BY THE CELL TO BATTERY TO MAXIMUM SUPPLY OF CURRENT DELIVERED TO BULB

HOPE UNDERSTAND MY WORD WISH YOU BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD ANY PRLM THAN YOU CAN ASK
