Explanation: equivalent resistance of series commection is

2+3+5=10 ohm

Therefore,,current,,I=V/R

I=2/10=0.2A

Now potential difference in 3 ohm resistance is

V=I×R.           (Current is same in series)

V= 0.2×3= 0.6 V
