Find GST:

12% of ₹4500 = 0.12 x 4500 = ₹540

Find purchase price:

4500 + 540  = ₹5040

Answer: The GST is ₹ 540 and the purchase price is ₹ 5040

vasantt6: if cellphone is Including GST then answer will be 4500*12/112 =482(GST) Price of cellphone is 4500-482=4018

Heya!!

------------------------------

Price of cellophone = ₹4500
Gst additionally = 12%

= 12% of ₹4500

= 12/100 * 4500

= ₹12*45

= ₹540

Total = ₹4500 + ₹540

= ₹5040

Hope it helps uh!!
