Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

You said it true that cells require minerals and other substances to work normally.

All of the cells have a cell membrane which covers them. Then how do they obtain the necessary nutrients ?

Well, the reason is that the membranes of the cells are selectively permeable which allow only selected things to enter the cell. All other foreign entities are prevented from entering the cell. The membrane acts like a filter blocking the un-neccesary things from entering the cells. This is important as disease causing germs or bacteria might enter our cell and make us ill.

This is how cells obtain the required minerals and substances to work normally despite being covered by a cell membrane !

❣️⭐ Hope it helps you dear...⭐⭐❣️❣️

hello....

✔️In animals the membrane which protects inner cell is called cell membrane ...

✔️In plants the membrane which protects inner cell is called cell wall

✔️now.... in animal cell :–
1⃣The plasma membrane also controls the flow of water, nutrients and minerals.

✔️Now.. I'm plant cell.. :–
2⃣Plasma membrane is porous so it allows some things passing through it. so the cell now; is basically healthy and strong...

So clubbing together..

1⃣Minerals and nutrients reaches inside cells because the cell membranes are semi-permeable...

2⃣They allow certain substances to pass through it.

3⃣All substances cannot pass through the membranes directly, specific carrier and proteins exist that helps in transportation.....

thank you...
