A cell requries water ,minerals and other substances to stay alive. but the cell is covered with a cell membrane . how do these things reach inside the cell.

the cell membrane is semi permeable which allows basic and necessary particles to move .

Cell membrane is a semi-permeable membrane which permits the entering and outgoing movements of substance inside and outside of the cell. Thus,all these things reach inside the cell.
