Solution :

\bf{\red{\underline{\underline{\bf{Given\::}}}}}

A cement company earns a profit of Rs.15 per bag of white cement sold and loss of Rs.8 per bag of grey cement sold.The company sells 3500 bags of white cement and 2000 bags of grey cement in a month.

\bf{\red{\underline{\underline{\bf{To\:find\::}}}}}

The profit or loss.

\bf{\red{\underline{\underline{\bf{Explanation\::}}}}}

A company earns profit of Rs.15 per bag of white cement sold.

So;

Profit of selling 3500 bags of white cement =Rs.(15 × 3500)

Profit of selling 3500 bags of white cement =Rs.52500

&

A company earns loss of Rs.8 per bag of grey cement sold.

So;

Loss of selling 2000 bags of grey cement =Rs.(8 × 2000)

Loss of selling 2000 bags of grey cement =Rs.16000.

A/q

We know that profit :

\leadsto\sf{Profit=Selling\:price\:-Cost\:price}

So;

A company of total profit on selling the white cement = Profit - Loss

A company of total profit on selling the white cement = Rs.(52500-16000)

A company of total profit on selling the white cement = Rs.36500.
