Gain = 3500 × 12 = 42000
Loss = 5000 × 8 = 40000
As gain > loss
Therefore gain = 42000-40000=2000
b) grey cement bags sold = 6000
Loss = 6000 ×8 = 48000
Now gain must be equal to loss so
48000 = x(amount of white bag sold) ×12
48000/12=x
4000= x
Therefore no. of white bags sold = 4000
