a certain amount of a gas at 27°C and 1 atmospheric pressure occupies a volume of 25dm^3. if the pressure is kept constant and the temperature is raised to 77°C, what would be the volume of the gas?

T1 = 27+273 = 300K

V1 = 25dm^3

T2= 77+273 = 350K ( here mark the preposition

to which means T2 is 77°c)

V2= ?

V1/T1 = V2/T2

25/300 = V2/350

V2 = 25×350/300

V2= 5×35/6

V2 = 175/6

V2 = 29.1 dm^3 Answer

Here,

V1=25m3

T1=270C=300K

T2=770C=350K

Hence,

V2=T2V1T1=35025×300=21.43m3
