let the certain amount be x.then,
A will get 1/3x.and
c will get 1/3x-1200
b will get x-1200

1/3x+1/3x-1200+x-1200=x
4x/3=2400
4x=2400×3
x=600×3
x=1800
Hence the money is 1800
